Mario Armando Lavandeira a.k.a. Perez Hilton was born March 23, 1978. He rose to fame via his celebrity blog, Perezhilton.com (formerly PageSixSixSix.com) which covers celebrity gossip and posts tabloid photographs. In 2005 his blog was named "Hollywood's Most-Hated Website" by The Insider, which only fuelled its popularity. In 2007, he made the transition to television with his reality show, What Perez Sez. These days, he is a regular contributor to various talk shows, magazines and has his own radio programme, Radio Perez. A strong supporter of gay rights, Perez is often seen campaigning to change laws that currently ban gay marriage.
